Public Assistance for February 1-2 Blizzard

Financial assistance is potentially available to local governments and certain private not-for-profit organizations to help with extraordinary costs related to the severe winter storm of February 1-2. The deadline for submission of the initial “Request for Public Assistance (RPA)” forms is Saturday, April 16th. Forms can be found at the IEMA website http://www.state.il.us/iema/disaster/pdf/FEMA%20Form%2090-49.pdf and should be faxed to the IEMA Public Assistance Division at 217-782-8753.
